New Zealand’s oldest university was established in 1869 with just three professors when it opened, and quickly grew to offer courses in medicine, mining, mineral technology, arts, law, and music. Later, a school of dentistry was added, along with theology, physical education and consumer and applied sciences, until eventually, University of Otago Dunedin New Zealand grew to its current 20,000 student enrollment.
