Auckland, Wellington and Rotorura
Last time I talked about New Zealand cruises. Today I’d like to talk about some of the North Island tourist attractions that you may be interested in. Use this information to guide you to finding attractions that will make sense for your vacation.
The first center of tourist attractions is in Auckland, New Zealand. Her you will find attractions like the Auckland War Museum, the Sky Tower and the Parnell Historic Village. If you like to shop then make sure you go to Otara Market on Saturday as this is the largest Polynesian market in the world.
Wellington is another tourist center. Here you will find the Museum of New Zealand, the Wellington Zoo, the Karori Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Wellington Botanic Gardens. If you are interested in a riding tour of Wellington then consider taking the Wellington Cable Car for a spin.
The third main tourist center on the North Island of New Zealand is Rotorua. Here you will find Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland, Polynesia Spa, Waimangu Volcanic Valley, Skyline Skyride, Paradise Valley Spring Wildlife Park and the Zorb Rotorua Amusement Park. As you can tell from this list of tourist attractions, Rotorua is in a very geothermal active area of New Zealand. Make sure you pay attention to warning signs and instructions to stay out of trouble.
Tourist attractions vary depending on whether you are on the North Island or the South Island. To get the most from your first New Zealand vacation make sure to select activities from both islands.
