There are a lot of events that you can attend when you visit New Zealand in December. If you want a physical challenge then you may want to sign up for the Taupo Half. This Kiwi event is about half the New Zealand Ironman and includes a 2 km swim, a 90 km biking adventure and a run to the finish line. If you prefer a slightly less active activity, then consider cheering on the participants of this event, which can be just as exhilarating. This event will be help on December 8.
If you are interested in hearing some beautiful music then make plans to be at the Great Lake Center on both December 1 and December 2. On the first Henry Lavao will be in concert. Ticket prices will be $12 for students and $22 for adults. On the second of December stick around the Great Lake Center to hear the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra play for the Lion Foundation Heartland Tour. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
