New Zealand Cruises You Won’t Want to Miss

Last week we talked about events that you can participate in Lake Taupo, New Zealand, this week I would like to talk about New Zealand Cruses. New Zealand has two islands that you can explore, the North Island and the South Island. Each island has its own unique flavor and sites, and each is worth spending a lifetime in.

The North Island is a good place to start if you are coming from Australia. One of the North Island Cruises that you can take is the Hole in the Rock Cruise. This cruise visits a lot of great sites including Urupukapuka. This cruse is also excellent for marine animal watching, you will most likely see dolphins that enjoy swimming next to the ships that travel in the waters around the North Island.

The South Island is my favorite cruising destination because Fjiordland National Park is located on this island. One of my favorite cruises is the Milford Sound Cruise. This cruise is known for breathtaking views of the fjords and the sea waterfalls. The Doubtful Sound Cruise is another great cruise that tours Fjiorland National Park, and it is just as great as the Milford Sound Cruise.

In addition to cruise ships, you also have the option of renting a smaller boat of your own, to kayak or to take various ferries. These options are affordable alternatives to cruising aboard a luxury liner.

Exciting New Zealand cruises are a great way to gain a new perspective of New Zealand. In my opinion all New Zealand vacations need to include at least one cruise. Next week’s topic will be celebrating new zealand holidays.
