July may be hot in the United States, but in New Zealand it is winter time. If you prefer the cold then this is the month to plan your vacation. You can go skiing, snowboarding and even explore glaciers on the South Island of New Zealand.
The South Island of New Zealand is a winter wonderland. This is the island that you will want to focus your vacation activities on if you enjoy winter sports and settings. This island is sparsely populated, but there are still plenty of great places to stay and tour.
If you prefer a warmer climate all you have to do is island hop to the North Island, New Zealand. The North Island is closer to the equator and has plenty of warm weather left for tourists even in July. Here you can tour volcanoes, sandy beaches and go cruising. You can also schedule a wildlife adventure with the local dolphin population.
Do you have a favorite July activity for New Zealand vacationers? What is the best event to attend, where are the best winter beaches and what is there to do in New Zealand in July? I look forward to reading your posts.
