Last week I talked about New Zealand holidays and what you can do during the Christmas holiday in New Zealand. This week I want to talk about New Zealand vacation events that will be available during the early part of January. Use this information to help plan your own vacation itinerary.
If you will be traveling to New Zealand between December 16th and March 16th, then you will want to make your way to the Pukekura Park in the Taranaki Region. Here you will find your self in a mystical wonderland created in honor of the TSB Bank Festival of Lights.
Between December 16th and January 13th you will want to make a side trip to the Christchurch region for the Carolina Bay Carnival. This carnival will offer a county fair atmosphere where you can enjoy fair style rides, listen to free concerts and play carnival games. A great event for families and people who are looking for affordable fun.
If you find yourself in the Waikato region between January 1 and April 30, then you will want to stop by the events planned for the Morrinsville Centennial Celebration. This festival will offer a variety of activities including a jazz festival, a biking event and a flower festival.
The New Year has a lot of fun planned for people on a New Zealand vacation. Enjoy New Zealand outdoor activities and New Zealand cruises as well as planned events and activities. Next week we will talk more about January events you can attend.
